United by love and family, each brings a unique set of holistic skills to the Garden Studio allowing this Collection to blossom from a desire to introduce luxury skincare to the transformative power of high vibes through the healing potency of plants.

founder, formulator & "plant whisperer"

Raised in the wildflower fields of Austria’s pure, pristine countryside, Tanja developed a deep love for plants at a young age and was always finding herbs at her hands.

She spent her childhood days collecting flowers, marveling at plants, discovering their subtle energies as well as her own intuitive ways of whispering to them. As this passion blossomed Tanja felt a magnetic pull towards the renowed Austrian Academy of Kinesiology where she trained in Energetic Healing, Kinesiology and Aromatherapy for three years.

This elevated her talent of communicating with plants, being able to tap into them with her creative vein, whilst formulating. At the same time, her extensive trips around the world with husband Max brought Tanja into touch with energetic healing practices and beauty rituals of indigenous people. The foundational vision for Max & Me came into full alignment when Tanja blended her love of plants and energy healing with her passion to source rare and highly vibrant plants, often from the very indigenous tribes which they encountered. Together with Max she created their Garden Studio, to nurture a totally new vision of skincare, founded on the earth’s rarest high vibrational ingredients.

Max is a visionary entrepreneurial spirit with an international flair, grounded in a deep love for the earth and its many wonders.

All this is paired with beautiful integrity and a fine sense of humor – an inspiring character to behold. Max grew up on a farm in an especially pristine area of the Austrian countryside, being totally immersed in the planting, nurturing and harvesting cycles. With a profound understanding of the rhythms of the plant world, Max embraced his holistic and healing beliefs in the structural and operational creation of Max & Me, embedding ethical responsibility, sustainable practices and a reverence of nature at the company core. Max is deeply committed to the environmental and social responsibility of the business whilst leading by example in this new field of high vibe ingredient sourcing and production.

Did you know that your heart meridian runs through your hands? Imagine how mighty they are in giving love to everything they touch. At the Max and Me Garden Studio this is done with full awareness and intention.

Before starting into yet another day in the kitchen, in production, in shipping, in the treatment room or the offices, the team gathers and together does beautiful heart opening exercises, letting its powers stream to and through their hands which will then be bestowed upon everything they softly run their fingers through.

The Garden Studio

The place where everything began, its sublimity sings and dances its very own vibrancy into the Collection. The place which is sacred to Max and Tanja, their Garden Studio, nestled in lushly flowering meadows, protected by mighty trees.

It leaves its pure and pristine imprint on every pretty bottle and jar.

Walking the gardens each morning and evening, at the bookends of their days, lights Max and Tanja up and gives them the grounding they need to do their high vibe work.

Tanja’s awakening of skin, soul & spirit

Tanja is supported and guided every morning by The Intuitive as her Master of Ceremony, followed by Purity&Grace and I am the Light.

On some days her skin drinks in Rescue Balm mixed with 2 drops of the I am the Light and generous mists of The Intuitive, instead.
