I’m in a rather reflective mood this morning, I’ve been a bit troubled by things that have happened recently and although I don’t want to dwell on them, it did inspire me to share my recent experiences of The Intuitive mist by @maxandme_oils. I have talked about this gloriously hydrating mist in a previous post and I am thrilled to say that I am absolutely still in love with it. I highlighted then that this precious floral elixir is not merely a deliciously hydrating product, but it has the ability to function as an Aura mist, bestowing harmony and clearing the energies.
I’m a bit of cynic really and I never really fathomed that I needed an ‘Aura mist’ in my life. I have however been diligently using this wonderful blend of Palo Santo (famed for its healing properties and its ability to uplift, energize and elevate body, soul and spirit), Yarrow, Myrtle, Rose and Neroli hydrosols, together with healing Blue Tansy, Marula, Rosehip oil, Wild Agonis (famed for balancing circadian rhythm) and Helichrysum Italicum (excellent to sooth inflammation while also stimulating collagen production). Mostly I mist at the end of my working day. Many of you may be surprised to hear this but dentistry can really suck the life out of you. A lot of patients come to the dentist very stressed, frazzled and this sort of energy I feel really gets passed on to clinicians which contributes to great amounts of stress. (Not looking for any sympathy here, just saying…) I find that using The Intuitive bestows a shift of that energy in me and frankly I’m hooked.
I was even more astounded by something that happened last Wednesday. I had a particularly difficult patient booked in. I didn’t sleep the night before seeing him because he is always so belligerent and acerbic and refuses to take any clinical advice I give him. Basically, he’s a bully and although I don’t allow myself to get bullied by him, it doesn’t stop him from making my life hell. On a whim, before I got him in my surgery, I decided to copiously mist the room with The Intuitive. I’m still shocked at how that appointment went.
Initially his usual astringent self, he rather quickly calmed down and actually listened to me and accepted what I said I get you skeptics out there thinking I’ve gone balmy. But here’s the thing, it works on me, soothes my frazzles nerves at the end of my busy days and clearly something clicked with this man. You don’t need an explanation for everything and I fully intend to explore this realm in more detail soon.
