The Ceremony

Whether used daily or once a week, gently mix a cherry-sized dollop with a quarter of a teaspoon of water (or a few mists of The Intuitive) into a yummy mousse-like cream in the palm of your hand. Delicately sweep across the face, neck and décolleté. Let it sink in for a minimum of 30 minutes as a mask (it can be left on for hours if desired) or a minute or two as a wash.

When ready, gently wipe off with The Cloth, making sure it’s as warm and steamy as possible. Enjoy the difference in brightness and texture of your skin! Added exfoliation pleasure: If preferred, wet your fingertips and massage gently to release the fine Mangosteen beads, before sweeping it off.
This multitasker can also delight you as a wash, an overnight treatment, a spot treatment, an exfoliator, a gentle lip-scrub, a tinted moisturizer, a body and hand mask.
 

As a Wash: Apply a thin layer to your face and then gently sweep off with The Cloth, making sure it is as warm and steamy as possible. For the removal of eye make up pls add Purity&Grace.
 

As an overnight treatment for troubled skin: When rinsing Mask&Wash off, instead of swiping it off with a damp Cloth, a thin layer of these deeply calming, anti-inflammatory oils and butters is left on your skin, working its healing magic all through the night. Optional: follow with The Intuitive and Rescue Balm.
 

As a second cleanse & exfoliator: Apply a thin layer of Mask&Wash, then wet your fingertips and massage gently to release the fine Mangosteen beads, before swiping it off.
 

As a lip scrub: Take any leftover from mixing the mask and gently massage onto lips. Marvel at how silky-soft and shiny they are afterwards.
 

As a hand mask: So soothing, hydrating and nurturing, counterbalances the effects of frequent hand washing and sanitizing.
 

As a tinted moisturizer: When rinsing Mask&Wash off, instead of sweeping it off with a damp Cloth, a thin layer of deeply nourishing and hydrating oils and butters is left on your skin, showing off a slightly bronzed complexion, thanks to the beautiful hues of Peruvian Cacao Powder and Mangosteen Powder.

If you're looking to purchase one thing from Max and Me and want to see instant results, this is the product I would recommend. I found that one small thumb-nail-sized amount mixed with about 7 drops of water was the perfect amount to cover my face. (I used less than recommended at once, because I didn't want to run out!) It's hard to compare this mask to anything, because it's unlike any other mask I've tried. It was the perfect balancing treat for my oily skin, as the clay and Manuka treated any spots I had, while the rich oils and butters deeply moisturized my skin. After gently massaging into my face to wash off, my skin felt clarified without feeling tight or dry. On the contrary, it was radiant, moisturized and smooth.
